GAVIN’S BUOYED BY UK’S BIGGEST DRAWING PRIZE

I’m so happy to report I’ve been selected for the UK’s most important prize for contemporary drawing: the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize. Out of 3,300 entries from 1,673 artists and makers, 101 drawings by 89 creatives were selected for the 2021 exhibition. The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize has an established reputation as the UK’s most important annual open exhibition of drawing. I thought you may want to share my good news. This distinction is a significant milestone in any artist’s career and I know I wouldn’t have been able to do this without your help, support, and encouragement along the way. To me, this gives huge recognition to anyone and everyone concerned with my artistic development, good or bad. So, I would like to invite you to share with your family, friends and colleagues my latest news. So far, organisers of the exhibition have approached my alumni network, University of Wolverhampton, and Birmingham City University, inviting them to share this news on their own channels (blog, newsletter, social media) and/or circulate my success to their media contacts. I hope you can too. If you can find a moment to like, comment and share, and help spread the word about the TBWDP ‘21 I would be most grateful. Many thanks for your continued support, Gavin
